Let’s talk about Fintech!

I’ve been spending the past 4 years digging into payments and financial products. I’m a fan of collaborative work, and love bringing diverse minds together to execute a vision.

My past life as a software engineer allows me to build effective relationships with engineering and data, while driving product strategy and delivery.

So why Payments?

I ask myself a question that I know isn’t unique to me, “How do you figure out what you want to do with your career if you have absolutely no idea where to start?”

Did you know that dipping your fries in a Wendy’s frosty would taste amazing? Nah, but some crazy person went and tested it out! And it just worked! Moral of the story …

• Passion stems from Action, and Action is the result of trying new things! So my interest in payments wasn’t born out of a sudden jolt, but rather, through the work I’ve been doing the past years.

• Realizing the volume of technological catch-up that needs to be played in the industry, coupled with the impact on every person (I mean … who doesn’t care about the systems that process their money, right?) is what fueled my desire to get deeper into payments

• It’s said that .. “It’s easier to invent the future, than to predict it”. This is kind of the philosophy I hope to try and live by, as my career progresses.
